2012 Chevy Cruze p0299 underboost code. My 2012 Chevy Cruze, 130k miles, had the p0299 underboost code pop up about 2 weeks ago, it went away for a week or so and just came back again. In this video I am holding down on the accelerator. It seems that the boost over spikes and then cuts back down and has a problem regulating/building boost back up.To prevent future P0299 errors, regular maintenance of your Chevrolet Cruze is essential. This includes timely oil changes, checking the turbocharger system for leaks or damage, and ensuring all components are in good working condition.I should also mention that the horrible misfire and jerking isn't constant. The car will do it for maybe a week or so, and then quit for about the same amount of time, and just go in cycles like that. The check engine light has come on a few times, but once I turned the car off and started it again, it would go away.
